F&Q

What is Molly?

Molly is a wearable AI companion designed to support reflection, emotional regulation, and memory. She is built to help people process their thoughts, navigate difficult moments, and feel less alone, without replacing human relationships. Molly is not therapy, diagnosis, or surveillance. She is a support tool that works alongside your life.

Is Molly meant to replace therapists, friends, or family?

No. Molly is designed to complement, not replace, human connection. She supports moments in between, when someone needs to talk, reflect, or regulate before or after connecting with others. Molly helps people organize their thoughts so those human conversations can be more grounded and meaningful.

Is Molly always listening?

Molly only listens when you intentionally engage with her or when you have explicitly enabled specific safety features. She is designed with consent-first principles, clear boundaries, and user control. Molly does not passively monitor your life or record without permission.

How is my privacy protected?

Your data belongs to you. Molly is built around consent, memory dignity, and user ownership. She is not designed to harvest, sell, or exploit personal information. Privacy is not an afterthought, it is part of the architecture.

What makes Molly different from other AI assistants?

Most AI tools are built for productivity, efficiency, or output. Molly is built for attunement. She focuses on emotional safety, reflection, and presence rather than speed or performance. Molly does not rush, judge, diagnose, or assume, she mirrors what you share and supports your nervous system at your pace.

What is Todd, and how does he fit in?

Todd is an emotional support pillow and a companion character within the Molly universe. He represents comfort, humor, and recognition, especially during moments of overwhelm. Todd doesn’t fix problems or give advice. He offers something just as important: a soft place to land.

Who is Molly for?

Molly is for anyone who feels deeply, thinks a lot, or carries more than they let on. She is especially supportive for people navigating stress, grief, neurodivergence, caregiving, or major life transitions. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from Molly, you just need to be human.

Is Molly safe for kids or vulnerable users?

Molly is designed with safety, consent, and ethical boundaries at the core. Any use with children or vulnerable individuals is built around guardian involvement, transparency, and appropriate limits. Molly does not replace care, she supports it.

Does Molly give medical or mental health advice?

No. Molly does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical or clinical treatment. She supports reflection, grounding, and emotional processing. For medical or mental health concerns, professional care is always recommended.

Why does Molly focus so much on emotions and memory?

Because emotions and memory shape how we experience the world. When people feel heard and regulated, they make better decisions, communicate more clearly, and connect more deeply. Molly exists to support that internal clarity, not to control or optimize it.

What does “attuned” mean?

Attunement means listening with care, responding with context, and respecting pace. Molly is built to respond to you, not to assumptions about you. She reflects what you share and supports awareness rather than pushing outcomes.

Is Molly religious, spiritual, or philosophical?

Molly is none of those, and she can coexist with all of them. She does not impose beliefs or frameworks. She is designed to be emotionally neutral, supportive, and adaptable to the user’s values.

When will Molly be available?

Molly is currently in development. Updates, timelines, and early access opportunities will be shared as they become available. This project is being built intentionally, ethically, and with care,  not rushed.

Does Molly ever hallucinate or make things up?
No. Molly is designed not to guess or fill in gaps. She only responds using what you’ve actually said, what you’ve clearly approved, or what is truly known. If something is unclear or missing, she slows down, asks for clarification, or reflects instead of inventing an answer. That means you’ll never get confident-sounding guesses, false memories, or imagined facts. If Molly doesn’t know something, she’ll tell you honestly.
